Zone 2 will not use the regular LFE out, but some subs will take a speaker level input, so you run a parallel set of speaker lines to the sub in addition to your zone 2 speakers. I use an NHT Classic It accepts full range line level or speaker level as a sort of secondary input. Also possible, use zone 2 full range line outs. I'm not positive if the Onkyo mirrors those. It might be line out or speaker out. I don't know, but if your purposes are for a parallel 2 channel setup, don't you just want stereo?
