Pirates of the caribbean ds game help

First come apples, which can resore your health. Coins, well, add to your treasure, duh. Gears, dropped by certain opponents, let you open closed doors. Map fragments are needed to unlock the next section. You can find these pick ups by defeating enemies and breaking crates. In your adventures you will encounter the pirate lords and other pirates, whoom you have to defeat in a duel to progress. Duels are basically the boss battle then. Use the touch screen to draw lines, and later complex shapes, that perform attacks.

Block an opponent's attack correctly and they will be temporarily stunned, allowing you to hit them. This whittles their hp down without wasting yours. Other pirates can block too, and the same thing happens as when you attack, you can be stunned. The duel ends once someone runs out of hp. You can unlok more complex attacks then the basic 4 by comepleting parts of the game. Talk to the pirate at the helm of the ship and you can practice dueling with him.

Harder bosses give you less time to react to their attacks. At the end of the duel you have to disarm the opponent. Memorize the presented pattern and then execute it correctly to disarm your opponent and finish the duel. After you comeplete a duel you are given points and a rank based on how quickly you finished the duel, how much damage fatique you took, and how much style you did basically how manty different moves you used.

Rake in over points to get the highest rank, Pirate Lord. Down from there is Commrade, Captain, and the rest I don't remember. Picking Locks You play this to pick certain treasure chest locks. Draw a line as quickly as possible from one side to the next and avoid the falling tumblers. If you touch a tumbler you have to start over. On harder difficulties the tumblers are splayed out so that you have to draw a complex line quickly to avoid them, but this is still an easy mingame.

Arranging Map Fragments Go to your desk to arrange your map fragments. This is a very cursory minigame, just stick the fragments in the right places relative to one another and get your comeplete map. Gearbox Minigame At intervals you'll meet doors in the game. Openning them requires you to stick the gear in the right slot and spin it in the right direction to disingage the lock. Easy again. It's also where you practice dueling and learn new moves. The Deck This is where most of the action is.

Switch charecters, and practice dueling here. Captains Quarters Visit the captain's quarters through the door in the ship's helm. Here you can admire unlocked artwork, change costumes, assemble maps, and admire your game progress. Cargo Hold This is in the ship itself. The Bridge Walk over to the wheel to take command of your ship and go to another area.

You can only visit areas you've unlocked. Relying on his wit, his sword, and lots of luck, Jack is one of the sea's most endeering, and least trustworthy, souls. Will Turner Try as he might, turner may have to sword skills of a pirate, but not the cold heart. His good hature makes him a valuable ally, but the pirate blood in his veins can lead to reckless actions.

Elizabeth Swann She's no damsal in distress-she's a girl with a mission! Elizabeth is both fast and graceful and wields dual swords that carve a place for her commanding presence. It can be broken into 4 "areas," each with a certain amount of levels. These are controlled collectively from the map, where you choose your destination. There are two types of levels-ordinary levels and boss battles. Ordinary levels make up the majority of the levels, and are the basic side-scrolling key to the game.

Boss Battles are what they sound like-Boss Battles. They occur with bosses and have their own designation. There are usually 2 bosses per area. Boss battles are basically duels with key storyline charecters, and some unexpected ones too. Key: Red Circle - A level you have yet to comeplete. Comepleting these levels advances the story. Green Circle - A level you have comepleted, but not comepletly. There is nothing more to see here. Two Swords - You have beaten this boss battle.

It's really just a distraction but if you master it the game can become quite fun. You can play Liar's Dice with up to 3 friends or against the machine.

To start the game, each player rolls their dice but doesn't show their roll to the other players. Your roll is displayed on the Touch Screen. When it's your turn to play, you may either raise the bid or call the previous bidder a liar. The bid consists of how many of a certain die everyone at the table has. To raise the bid, increase either the number of a. There are two numbers in each bid: the value of the dice you're bidding on 2. That number can range from one all the way up to however many dice have been rolled.

If the bid is to high and you are called a liar, you lose a dice! If you are called a liar but really aren't, the caller loses a die.

After every call, someone loses a dice, and the die are reshuffled. The game ends when only one person has any dies left. Here are some tips: be conservative. Unless you are certain that the bid is wrong, like saying five 5s when there are only 8 dice in play, try to avoid calling altogethor. This is because if you lose a die, you both come closer to losing, and take a disadvantage. Fewer dies means you have less insight into the game.

The computer isn't actually that difficult, but they do have a tendancy to call wild bids. While that usually means that you can strike them out, the annoying part is when their bids are actually right.

Also they will call out often, even in what are almost certainly bad calls. That's good for you but again, occasionaly they are right. Remember that the coomputer players attack one another as well, so by biding your time you can quickly gain an advantage, beacuse no matter the call as long as you're not on one end or the other the computer as a collective will lose a die.

One of the tricky parts of the game is that you have to raise the bid on your turn. The best tactic to keep this problem low is to raise the number to your best number and not raise the amount. Or, raise the amount by one and don't raise the number. Captain Sparrow, running from a deal gone wrong with Davy Jones, has found himself locked in mortal combat with James Norrington and william Turner over the key to the Dead Man's Chest.

Whoever has the key can open it and control Davy Jones or destroy him! I say we open the chest now and stab the heart. Excepting that Davy Jones set the Kraken after me when I "declined" his offer to join his crew. If he dies, I will never be free of that beastie. James Norrington: This is a chance to get my life back-and I'm going to take it. Jack Sparrow: On the subject of taking-I'm taking the key! After that dynamic cut scene you assume the role of Will as you rush after Norrington.

Grab the coin out in the open and then jump between the platforms. Another coin. This "mission" basically introduces you to the comtrols. Grab the ledge and slide down as instructed. On the ground, walk between the stone pillars and snag all of the coins there. Backtrack and climb onto the pillar. Jump across the pillars, collecting coins. Finish jumping and land on a tall wooden platform. Destroy the barrel with Y and grab the coins, then climb down the rope netting back to the ground.

Here there's a setof moving platforms, you have to time your jumps carefully so as not top dunk yourself into the water. On the other side is another save point, two barrels, and your fist enemy. Kill the pirate with Y and collect the crates. However, Will intermeeds: [dialouge] Will: Hold on a moment I've got a feeling there's something nearby. I should take out Jack's compass and check Use it to track down treasure. Use it now with A and it will lead you acrss a jump to a small chest.

Play the tumplers minigame and get your first treasure, a Tear of Calypso. Find 6 and increase your health and savvy, permenenetly. The rest won't be so easy. Use it to stun enemies. You'll need it on the next section. Cross the chasm and quickly throw one with R to stun them. Look for the skull and crossbones and press X when you see it to do so, but you can go without it.

Scale the net and then another one. Crab the pole and slide along it to the next platform. Beat the pirate and grab the gear he drops. Use it on the locked door right there to open it. Stick the gear in the top slot and then turn it to open. Cross into some sort of ruined home. Two more pirates here, and a chance to brush up on your skills. Slide it into the center-top pin and then rotate to open the door. The china-thing symbols tells you you are entering a new area.

New area. You start out on a ruined road with a bit of a grade. Move to see a pirate staring into space absent-mindedly. Sneak over to him and then press X to execute it and decapitate him instantly. Climb the net and then slide along the broken wood support frame. You drop right onto a stupid pirate; don't worry, he can't hit you while you're hanging. Kick through his block and then kill him. Oh, Tar Bomb! Ignoring the commands for now, go down the rope and kill the pirate.

Snag all of the treasure here and then get back onto the main course. Jump the long distance to the rope, rotate it and then jump off. Jump onto another one, you land pretty high on it, climb down to near the edge for more momentum.

Swing it and then jump through another two just like it to land on a small platform with a flag checkpoint and a coin on it. More ropes follow. Another 4 ropes and you should have mastered the art of jumping ropes by now ; You see a new area to go to now. Ah ha, missed it didn't you? Climb down it onto a small sandy area with a bag of gold worth 25 coins-more then you could even have collected so far.

Gold doesn't show up on the compass, remember that. Sparrow: We both want the chest to be safe. I believe an accord is in order. Norrington: I won't join forces with the man who ruined my life! Sparrow: In point of fact, it was strapping Will who stole your fair lassie, freed me from jail, and made you look like a fool. I was merly along for the ride. Turner is to blame. Sparrow: Lovely.

You two settle this. I have a boat to catch. Everyone else follows him. Sparrow gets to the top, looks down, and slides down the rope. Draw the line instructed from right to left. Now do it as instructed in the other direction. Up down and down up. Now do some blocks and stun him as instructed. But considering that 5 were landed in the duel tutorial, it's only just 7. It's not a long shot to call this the easiest boss battle in the game, which makes sense because this is the tutorial boss.

He doesn't even stun you, and misses half his blocks. Also attacks at long intervals. Beat the pattern the skewer him and beat him. They confront him. As the titles play, you watch Elizabeth chain Jack to the bridge.

He pulls out but is engulfed by the Kraken. The ship goes down to the sea The Dalma's Shack, Prsent Day Dalma: Why do you come to The Dalma? What magic do you seek? Will: No magic, we lost Daptain Jack Sparrow, your friend as well as ours. He's passed over to the other side Dalma: How could Davy Jones catch such a clever fellow as Jack?

Elizabeth: The Kraken took him and the Pearl too. It was regrettably our only means of escape. If only there was some way for me to rescue him. Dalma: Do you want jack back to the world of the living? Will: Yes. Norrington took the Dead Man's Chest and gave it to Beckett. I need to get it back, and I don't think I can without Jack's help.

Dalma: Only someone who knows those dark waters can find Jack Sparrow. I think I have the man you need. Will: Captain Barbossa! But you're dead! Barbossa: so I was, temporarily. I was fetched out of Davy Jones Locker, the resting place of all blackhearted pirates Will: Then you'll want to guide us.

Jack is there, and so is the Black Pearl. Barbossa: Hold boy, first we'll need to get to Singapore. Elizabeth: singapore? Why Singapore? Dalma: To find the way safely to World's End you'll be needing a map. Only one map will do, held by the Pirate Lord Soa Feng. From here you control your adventure.

I will teach ye new dueling moves, if ye dare. Pintel is always eager to show ye a thing or two about duels. Talk to Will to swap places and have him take on the dangers onshore. Grab ahold of the Captain's Wheel if ye wish to set sail for another port. Below deck lies the cargo hold. There you can play Liar's Dice with Gibbs and check on your treasure.

In the Captain's Quarters can be found your maps, logs, and many other soveneirs of your travels. You've been introduced to the ship's functions and what the first part of your adventure will consist of. Now you switch back to Elizabeth in It's a disguise. Talk to the guy standing by the plank to learn a bit about singapore. Sao Feng loves bathouses and apparently his is a dandy. Go to barbossa to see about those "special moves" he was going to teach "ye. Oh well. Barbossa: We've longer still to go, farther then you can imagine.

Here there be fragments of a map that points to davy Jone's Locker. We find them, we find Jack. Will: The sooner we find the map fragments the better. They'll lead us to Davy Jone's Locker-and Jack. Barbossa: are you sure you're okay going alone through the sewers, Miss Swann? Elizabeth: I can take care of myself.

Will Just be careful. We will meet up again at the courtyard Barobossa: Come on boy, you heard the lass. She'll be fine. We need to find Mistress Ching. Collect the gold coin right in front of you and a window will pop up, saying that gold coins are worth 5 silver, bags of gold are worth 25, and gems are worth !!

We'll be sure to keep our eyes out for that wallop of a big prize. Collect enough a find a reward back on your ship. You start out on a dock. You see the platforms to the left? And the slots in them? The distance is too far to jump, which sucks because there's a map piece right there. You'll have to find the bamboo pole and then double back for it. As you go up the pier, a cut scene plays. One spots you and points to you. Break the crate and grab the coins.

Then go up the platform. Up the wooden peir, and you can sneak up on both of those bastards. Grab the coins, break the barrel and crate, and then climb another slightly-graded wooden structure.

Open it for another tear. Go up the stairs and you see two swordsmen. They carry really big double-swords! These are a lot tougher then the pirates you fought in the tuturial levels. Their attack is very strong and long-range, but slow to get out of the gate. Beat them and collect the coins at the two areas. You come out in an open, un-urbanized area.

Kill the two crates for coins and take the other one right there in the open. Open the chest in the corner, or rather try to, because another enemy comes-the tar Bomb dude. They run around and toss Tar Bombs at you, and are the reason you should shorten your engagments. Kill him and go take the chest. You have to beat a suprise enemy to get it.

The tumbler game here is a lot harder then it was before, isn't it? Get the coin and break the two barrels for more coins. Jump to another platforms, with two coins and shiny metal plate. Get onto the planks and jump the 3 platforms to land on the other side of the river. Grab the pirate flag checkpoint here, destroy the two Tar Bomb guys and then break the crate for more stuff.

Get down the stairs and then destroy the swordsman, and two barrels. Grab the open coin and activate another metal plate to open the door.

But before you go There are three spots with yellow bars on the bottom of the boat across from you. Aim at the one furthest to the right. In Free Play mode, head back to the wheel you spun to lift the box with the cannon inside. Spin it again to lift another box, then switch to a character with super strength. Pull the orange bar on the side to get a bunch of pieces, then build an antenna. You'll get a Minikit once it gets struck by lightning.

Once you hit your target, head to the left to find the second cannon covered by crabs gross. Assemble some nearby Lego pieces to build a wheel, then use the action button to spin it. When the crabs get washed away, grab a torch nearby and light this second cannon.

Shoot at the middle set of yellow bars, then head to the left. Keep killing the enemies that are overwhelming you, and the last cannon will automatically fall from above you. Assemble the pieces, then use a torch to light it. Aim at the leftmost set of yellow bars. In Free Play mode, use one of the cannons to shoot a box hanging on the right side of the other boat. Three ducks will fall into the water.

Shoot the one you can access now with this cannon, then hit the other two with the other cannons on the boat for a Minikit. Be sure to do this separately from when you shoot the yellow bars, since you'll miss your reward if you transition into the Bootstrap battle. After you hit the last target, you'll activate a cutscene. When the cutscene ends, you'll now be controlling Jack and battling Bootstrap Bill. Once you've taken away three of his hearts, he'll burst into pieces. In Free Play mode, use Jack's compass to select the bottom left option.

Once you find a box of apples, switch to a character who can go through coral and pick one up. Head to the coral near where you fought Bootstrap and go through.

Jump onto it. When the chandelier reaches the top, jump to the left twice. Go to the right to collect the studs, then to the left. Kill the pirate that attacks and go through the door he came through. There will be 3 pirates to kill here. One in the room and 2 that jump through the windows.

The last will leave a key. Collect the studs and assemble the windows again to get more studs. Turn the key to release Anamaria. Use the grapple hook to open it. Proceed to the right across the balcony and around the corner. Drop down the opening. The green arrow will disappear when you've placed them in the right spot.

Build the ladder on the left hand side of the mud pit and climb up. Push the box off of the balcony area and build it. Pick up the piece of pipe from the ground and place it in the hole.

Turn the wheel to raise the bucket. Jump onto the well and pick up the key from it. Go to the right and activate the vending machine to get a bag of birdseed. You can also use the parrot to collect the studs to the left. Once the ladder has been dropped, press Y to return to the normal characters. Climb the ladder, collect the studs and the key.

Return to the bottom and release the pirate. Fire it and continue on to the right. Use Elizabeth to drag the box from near the ceiling. Pick up the red chest and carry it over to the red panel to the left. Fire it again. Kill the four pirates and climb the ladder. Try and avoid the furthest part of the ship from the camera while collecting studs.

If you get hit, it will kill you, slowly, so try to be quick about it. If you die, try to get as many studs back as you can. Kill the pirate to the right, then a small cutscene will show another pirate jumping on board. Walk across it to the other ship. The last one will leave a key behind.

Press and hold A to push the bar around the mast. Before pulling the barrel down, go up the stairs to the right and collect the studs. Smash what you can. When you have collected all the studs from the water, go back left to get on land.

Use Jack to shoot the targets. Walk across the next gap via the planks. Kill the two pirates and start smashing everything you can chests, coin piles, stalagmites, crystal formations.

Cross it to the next little islet. Shoot the wall to the right. Light the powder and run away from it. Go through the hole to the right of the screen Character added: Will Turner At first, ignore the pirate in the middle of the room. Destroy everything you can throughout this part of the room. Go through the tunnel. Destroy everything in the room you can before confronting Balbosa. Shimmy across to the left on the hanging bar and jump to where the studs are. Jump again to get to Barbosa.

Press the right and left arrows to swing until you hit the top of the ledge and drop down. You can control where you go even against hills and jump in this ball. Go left then right to collect the studs. Go left again and gain speed. Jump over the gap. Continue up the hills. Get into the wheel and roll toward the right. Go down the hole that is opened and destroy the plants for studs. Roll back onto the RED platform to be bounced to the above level. Go to the left and follow the small path up the hill.

Go back up a level and to the left down the hill. Roll across and up the hill, then cross the next bridge. Roll the large wheel to the left to lower the LIFT. Enter the LIFT. Turn the large wheel to lower the bridge. Roll into it and it will take you to the next level. Go into the LIFT again and roll to the right.

Drop down toward the screen. Turn it toward the left. The second LIFT is away from the camera. The third is toward the camera. Roll up the hill to the left and kill the native. Collect the studs. Go over the bridge to the right. Roll down the hill and kill the native. Roll onto the RED platform to be bounced to the next level. Go to the far right and enter the large wheel. The bridge will collapse. Go all the way to the right of the screen. Pick up the bone and take it to the Dog.

Use the dog to go through the flap and dig to release the boulder. Pick up the barrel of gunpowder. Take it to the boulders on the left and set it off. Go through the hole. Activate it and a net will rise on the edge of the boat.

Assemble the blocks to build the first crew member. On the far upper section of the middle of the boat, go to the left and go through the algae to the upper left hand deck.

Rebuild the crew member and return to the center of the ship. Go down the opening to the right of the ship. Go through the opening on the right of the target. Use Bootstrap to release all of the tendrils again.

Pick up the key from the left hand side of the room to activate it. Climb the ladder to your immediate right. Return to the bottom of the screen, pick up the music box and carry it to the middle of the room. Chances are that you don't have much health right now, so if any grog appears then grab it. Running up the river will make goblins appear.

Kill them and keep on running down the river. Use Jack's signature move to kill the alligator and goblins to finish the level. If you are, I'd like to have a talk with your hairdresser. Of course not. The Swamp Monster only has three attacks. His first attack is that he'll jump in the air and smash his legs on the ground. When he does this, jump right before he hits the ground.

His second attack is a simple swing of his arm that you can dodge by jumping or running out of range. His final attack is that he'll stick his arm in the ground and will try to grab you. In order to hurt the Swamp Monster, the first thing you have to do is grab a bomb and wait until he tries to grab you.

Throw a bomb at his hand and he'll split into two there are unlimited bombs on the area, so don't worry if you miss.

Attack the two smaller Swamp Monsters and bring their health down to nothing to beat him. Don't worry if he goes back to being one big Swamp Monster, just hit his hand with a bomb again. I always knew the wind was going to blow you back to me one day.

Will: We're looking for this- and what it goes to. Tia Dalma: That compass you bartered from me can't lead you to this? Jack Sparrow does not know what he wants? Tia Dalma: Your key goes to a chest Will: And what does this chest contain? Tia Dalma: You know of Davy Jones, yes? A man of the sea, a great sailor Jack: A woman. Tia Dalma: He fell in love. He never stopped loving her, but the pain it caused him was too much to live with- yet not enough to cause him to die.

Will: Exactly what did he put into the chest? Tia Dalma: His heart. It was not worth feeling what small, fleeting joy life brings The key he keeps with him at all times. Jack: That was a roundabout way to get the answer. Will: You knew this already? Jack: No I didn't- but now we do, so all that is left is to slip aboard the Flying Dutchman, take the key, and then you can go to Port Royal and save your bonnie lass.

She doesn't look like much. Jack: Neither do you. Don't underestimate her. What's your plan? Will: I row over, and search the ship 'till I find your bloody key. Jack: I like it. Simple and easy to remember. If you get captured, say "Jack Sparrow sent me to settle his debt.

What is your purpose here. Will: Jack Sparrow sent me to settle his debt. Davy Jones: Did he now? I am sorely tempted to accept that offer. You've been captain of the Pearl for 13 years-that was our agreement. Jack: You have my payment. One soul, to serve on your ship.

He's already there. Davy Jones: You can't trade. You can't substitute. Jack: Just how many souls do you think my soul is worth? Davy Jones: One hundred souls. Three days. I keep the boy- a good faith payment. But I wonder, Sparrow- can you live with this?

Jack: Yep. Davy Jones: You can condemn an innocent man- a friend- to a lifetime of servitude, in your name, while you roam free. Jack: I'm good with it. Shall we seal it in blood? I mean, ink? Davy Jones: Let's not and say we did. Jack: Agreed.

I'd embrace you, but I fear it might stick. You there! Pirate: Ungh. Whaddyouwant, boy? Elizabeth: I'm looking for a William Turner- have you seen him? Pirate: Whazzat? I'm a bloody churner? Right, you'll pay for that, you barnacle. Other Pirate: My fist's been itchin' for a fight! Lemme have at 'im! Head up the stairs.

Hidden Gem 1: There is a good chance that you'll see this gem from the top of the stairs. Run north and grab it. After killing all of the pirates in the area, the last one will drop a torch.

Burn down the boxes and go down the ramp, but be careful because there is a pirate with a pistol at the bottom. Two pirates will jump off of the roof and attack you. One of them has a glass bottle that can stun you, so be sure to block when he throws it. Run down the stairs in the next area and fight your way east, ignore the flame for now, as you don't need it.

Walk up the giant set of stairs and you'll find the next health increase chest directly in front of you. Open it to raise your health even higher. Kill all of the enemies in the area and go into the skull transporter. Run through the open gates and light the torch on fire. Burn the boxes and clear the area. Head down the stairs but stop at the bottom. Hidden Gem 2: Run northwest from the bottom of the stairs and you'll find the next hidden gem.

Run down the ramp and kill all of the enemies to get a torch. Burn the boxes that are blocking your way at the top of the stairs and continue down the beach. There are a lot of enemies in the first area, so kill them all and run east into the skull icon. Hidden Gem 3: You need to run north from the beginning of the second area. Like most of the other "hidden" gems, it'll be easy to see. After disposing of al the enemies in the second map, the invisible wall will disappear.

Grab a torch from a recently-killed enemy, and light it. Destroy the wall of boxes. A short cutscene will play, showing you two pirates behind a gate. This is a circular map that you'll be doing some backtracking through, but for now head west and walk up to the gate. Pardon my associate 'ere. He's a few sails short of a ship, if ye catch me drift.

Elizabeth: Just weaving my way through town- I won't be any trouble if you just let me through. Pirate Captain: From what I hear tell, ye're nothing but trouble. This here be MY home. If ye want through, you'll have to pay tribue. Elizabeth: I don't have any gold, if that's what you mean.

Pirate Captain: I got plenty of gold. What I'm lookin' for is a new hat. Find me a new hat, and you can pass. A hat with a feather in. Run over to it and enter it. Grab the bucket of water and pour it on the fire, but kill the pirates first so you wont drop it. Run into the house at the end of the map. When you clear the house of pirates, a cutscene will show Elizabeth killing a pirate.

Maybe that's good luck. It won't be very easy, since there are lots of pirates. Elizabeth: I see. No interest in this bit of haberdashery, then? Pirate: That hat smells rotten. A bit like me, actually. Pirate Captain: Now that A hat fittin' a first-class scoundrel of a captain.

A deal's a deal- go on through before ol' Blinky here gets to ye. Use the water bucket to stop the fire and run near the horse.

How could they abandon him like this? Go into the skull icon and you'll find yourself inside of a house. Hidden Gem 4: The only real "hidden" gem of the level, you'll find it on the second floor of the house. Climb up the stairs and follow the path to the far right side of the house. You've unlocked the combo Flying Blade! Go back to the first floor and kill all of the pirates. Run into the skull icon to finish the stage. Pirate: 'Ey! I was tellin' a story 'ere!

Other Pirate: You're lookin a bit too shiny for these parts, "Young master. A spy for that cursed East India Company!

Third one this week! Elizabeth: Look, I'm no spy, you fools! Just passing through, and I- Other Pirate: Mates, whaddyasay we teach the young spy a lesson about trespassin'? For the first half you'll fight normal pirates, but when you've killed them all the real boss will appear.

A disgrace to our reputation, the lot of you! I'll show ye how to dispatch unwanted visitors! Not only can he throw glass bottles at you which will stun you, he can also regain some of his health by drinking some grog. The easiest way to kill him is to grab a glass bottle from a pile, throw it at him, and use the Deadlights combo. What has the world done to you? Norrington: Nothing I didn't deserve. Well enough, welcome aboard. Elizabeth: I've come to find the man I love. Jack: I'm flattered, yes, but my first and only love is the sea.

Jack: Elizabeth? Someone better hide the rum. Jack: I'd think you'd want a way to save Will, which would seem marginally higher priority than finding him. Unless you're unconcerned about the state you find him in. Elizabeth: Is there something that can save him? Jack: Yes, there is a chest, of unknown size and origin, that contains the heart of Davy Jones- the source of his immortality.

Elizabeth: I believe you. How can we find it. Jack: With this. This compass is unique. It doesn't point North, and it doesn't point to Isla De Muerta. What this compass points to is what you want most in the world. Elizabeth: And what I want most in the world is to find the chest of Davy Jones Jack: Mr.

We have our heading! Where is the key?? Undead Pirate: No sign. He must have been claimed by the sea. Davy Jones: I AM the sea. The chest is no longer safe. Chart a course to Isla Cruces. Undead Pirate: He won't find the chest. Davy Jones: He knew about the key, didn't he?

Now get me there first, or there be the devil to pay! I don't have much time! Be careful of the hammerhead one, he'll charge at you and knock you over.

This makes fighting them really annoying, so you might want to take him out first. Exit the area and run to the main part of the island. About halfway down the path, head north and grab the torch. Light it and go back to where you got the torch. Hidden Gem 1: Burn the boxes and run down the ramp.

You'll find the gem in the middle of the pathway right before the ramp. Walk onto the logs and into the skull icon. Grab the torch and burn down the boxes. Walk across the log bridge and you'll find yourself facing a bunch of undead pirates. I can see something glinting underneath the sand. If only I had a bit more light.

The only way to know where these bombs are is to hold a lit torch. Fourtanately, there is a torch and a fire in the beggining of the map. Make your way to the end of the beach, being careful to avoid the bombs.

You were telling the truth. Jack: I do that a lot, and yet people are still surprised. Elizabeth: Do we open it? Jack: Can't open it without the key. Elizabeth: Will, you're alive! Jack: How did you get here? Will: Sea turtles.
