Print pdf from google chrome

Be well This is maddening. Thanks, Steve. Chrome has its own built-in PDF generating functionality. You can select that by going to the printer selection, then select to save as PDF. What happens when you try to print to the Adobe PDF printer? Is it an option you can select? Just unable to print PDF files from Chrome. Other files print fine from within Chrome. We have reverted to telling people to use the work around, save the file and print from Acrobat.

Here is an older thread on SW discussing disabling the chrome printer dialog. I suspect it has something to do with the native print dialog of Chrome. If I can find a way for it to ignore that and use the Windows 7 print dialog I'm certain it will work.

While that can work you will find your users running in to the same problem if they don't open Chrome from that particular shortcut. This should be a better fix. I did check and did not see an option to "disable print preview" in the Chrome ADMX, so I changed the shortcut path to use the -disable-print-preview switch on the virtual app layer since this only impacts our virtual desktops.

I did see a setting to "always open PDF files externally" but that is not something we want. Portrait is the default orientation. To fix this issue, simply change the PDF option in Chrome settings. We show you how. If you have other printing issues in QuickBooks Online, check out Troubleshooting printing in Windows. Need to make changes or updates to your accounts or subscriptions?
